What is this?
Hey all, my name is Chung Vuong! I grew up in Ayer, MA and live in Somerville, MA. I'm going to be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge for the first time this year! It is an incredible organization that fundraises millions each year for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute by hosting this 190 mile bike ride across Massachusetts.
Why am I riding?
I know Cancer has affected almost all of us in one way or another - personally, I want to push myself for my mom, who is a recent breast cancer survivor and in memory of my grandfathers on both sides of my family, both of whom we lost to Cancer years ago.
I felt so helpless seeing my family in the suffering caused by Cancer, and I want to do something to help move us towards a time when nobody has to go through that ever again - so, I am using all the skills I have to raise money for research and pushing my physical limits to bike the long, symbolic ride to defeat this disease. I would be forever grateful for whatever you can give - I'd love to have the opportunity to honor all the people in our communities that have been affected by Cancer.
How can you help?
I understand how tight money is, but any amount helps, and every cent of your donations goes towards Cancer research locally right here in Massachusetts (source). You can donate by clicking here! I am offering incentives for donations - see details in the blue section!
